Georgia Grits, Corn Meal, Hoe Cakes & Mixes

Our Georgia Grits and Corn Meal come from the Georgia Agrirama in Tifton, GA. 

The grits are in 2lb bags, they are the same type commonly used in the South during the period represented by the Agrirama (1870-1899).  They are made straight from the rocks of the Davis Grist Mill.  The bag has this description as well as directions on the back.

The Corn Meal is also made at the Agrirama's Davis Grist Mill.  Recipes for Corn bread and Cracklin' bread are on the back of the package.
